Light Up Kids

​​Light Up Kids workshops have been lovingly created by an Educational Psychologist, a Child Trauma Specialist, a Teacher with 26 years experience and a chidrens group facilitator. Each member of our team brings their unique skill and experience to create activities and games which effectively facilitate learning for all children aged 6-10. 

We run group workshops where we aim to help children to develop the vocabulary and self awareness to talk about their feelings. We teach children practical tool they can use independantly to restore calm, such as breathing techniques, EFT 'Tapping', calming movements and more.
Ideal for school and youth groups, summer schemes, church groups and parent and child groups, these classes can also be delivered in your community centre or in a school or youth club.

More About Light Up Kids

Light Up Kids is a research backed and very effective mental health and resilience programme. Created by an Educational Psychologist, a Child Trauma Specialist and an experienced Teacher (26 years) and children's group facilitator.
​We teach through playful, thoughtful, fun and stimulating activities for children aged 6 to 11 yrs. 
The programme aims to give children practical strategies to:


  • Improve confidence, self belief and self image
  • Regulate and calm brains and bodies
  • Talk, write, draw or find their own way to express their feelings
  • Self Soothe and regulate when overwhelmed
  • Relax into sleep quickly and easily
  • Boost the immune system
  • Improve physical and mental health
